Service Description
IsMyChildSafe.com provides a digital footprint scanning service that searches publicly available online sources to identify where a child's name may appear online. This includes social media platforms, data broker listings, and public records.
Beta Notice: During our beta period, scan results may include illustrative or simulated findings to demonstrate the types of information that may be found. Results are for informational purposes only.
Eligibility
To use this Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be the parent or legal guardian of the child being scanned.
- Have authority to consent to the scan on behalf of the child.
- Provide accurate information about yourself and your child.
Free Scan
Our free scan provides a summary-level view of findings, including the number of social media profiles, data broker listings, and public mentions found. Detailed information (such as profile links, screenshots, and removal instructions) is available only in paid plans.
The free scan requires a valid parent email address to deliver results.
Paid Plans

We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites or platforms identified in scan results.
Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when submitting a scan.
- Use the Service only for your own children or children for whom you are the legal guardian.
- Not submit more than one scan per child per day.
- Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service.
- Not attempt to circumvent any security measures or access controls.
Intellectual Property
All content, reports, design, code, and materials on IsMyChildSafe.com are the property of IsMyChildSafe or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IsMyChildSafe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including any reliance on scan results. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the Terms were last modified. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
