- Child's first name - provided by you (the parent or guardian), used to perform the digital footprint scan.
- Child's age - provided by you, used to calibrate scan parameters.
- Parent email address - used to deliver scan results and service communications.
All information is collected from the parent or guardian, NOT directly from the child.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide digital footprint scan results based on the information you submit.
- Send safety reports and monitoring alerts if you subscribe to our Protect My Child plan.
- Improve our service and scan accuracy.
- Communicate with you about your account, plan changes, or important updates.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
COPPA Compliance
IsMyChildSafe.com complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. All information is provided by the parent or legal guardian on behalf of the child.
We collect minimal child information - only the child's first name and age - and only from parents or guardians who have consented to our Terms of Service.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate our service:
- Brevo - email delivery and list management.
- Sticky.io - payment processing (we do not store payment card data).
- Twilio - SMS alert delivery (only if you opt in to SMS notifications).
- Cloudflare - website hosting and security (Cloudflare Pages).
- Facebook - analytics pixel for advertising effectiveness measurement (see Cookie section below).
Cookies and Tracking
We use the following cookies and tracking technologies:
- Facebook Pixel - used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This tracks actions such as page views and scan submissions. We obtain your consent before enabling tracking.

We retain your email address and scan data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your data, we will process the request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.
